PRODUCT OVERVIEW: The CREM Recessed Emergency Light has a one of a kind aesthetic with the performance and dependability of Halogen MR16 lamps. The CREM can be installed into both ceilings and walls and protrudes only 1/2” from the surface, making it almost flush. The CREM is made from 20-gauge steel and impact resistant polycarbonate cover the lamps. The CREM comes with three different installation options. The CREM comes standard with sheetrock installation capability. Optional bar hanger kit is available for mechanical ceilings. The third install option is for suspended ceilings and comes with a 2’x2’ faceplate. The CREM comes standard with a maintenance free Sealed Lead Calcium battery. The CREM with remote operation capability enables the unit to receive battery backup power from a remote source. Intelli-Charge self-diagnostics are standard. CONSTRUCTION: Backbox constructed of 14 gauge galvanized steel. 2’ x 2’ faceplate constructed of 1/8” thick aluminum for strength and light weight. Available in white or black powder coated finishes. Use structural support wire or bar hanger kit (available separately) to complete installation. For suspended ceiling installation only.

ILLUMINATION: Illumination is provided by two high performance 35-watt MR-16 lamps combined with a patented reflector system. Optical assemblies can be rotated from 0° to 90° for corner installations. The CREM generates an average of 1 footcandle of emergency illumination over a 6’ x 90’ path of egress with a mounting height of 10’ AFF. The lamps remain hidden during emergency illumination. INSTALLATION: The CREM’s aluminum faceplate allows direct ceiling tile replacement. Openings are provided in the housing for structural support wire and bar hanger support. Multiple knockouts are provided for conduit entry.
