PRODUCT OVERVIEW: The VELE Value Series Recessed Edge Lit Exit Sign is one of the most aesthetically appealing and economical exit sign choices. The VELE is a favorite choice of designers and architects because of its concealed, attractive look and elegant, glowing EXIT panel. The EXIT panel is illuminated through the use of ultra energy efficient, red or green, LEDs.
The VELE Series comes with infield applicable chevron arrows for easy configuration. The housing is available in white, black, or brushed aluminum finishes. The VELE Series is available in single and double face models. Operates using either 120 or 277v AC power. Nickel-Cadmium battery backup option provides a minimum 90 minutes of emergency operation. The VELE Series with battery backup comes with a LED indicated push-to-test button. Dual circuit models are available.

CONSTRUCTION: The VELE Value Series Recessed Edge Lit Exit Sign housings are constructed of a heavy gauge aluminum extrusion finished in a choice of white, black and anodized aluminum finishes. All models utilize acrylic exit panels with etched letter edges for superior visibility. Double face model panels are supplied with a mirrored Mylar background.

ILLUMINATION: High output red or green LEDs provide superior bright¬ness and uniformity with a expected service life of 8-10 years. Energy consumption of less than 3 watts for AC only or less than 5 watts for battery back-up units.

BATTERY TECHNOLOGY: The VELE Series uses premium grade, sealed maintenance free nickel-cadmium battery to provide many years of dependable service. The battery backup provides a minimum 90 minutes of emergency operation.

INSTALLATION: Recessed models are provided with a mounting bar kit which allows unit installation in T-Bar hanger ceilings.
