PRODUCT OVERVIEW:

The GT257 Series is the most eco-friendly exit sign in the world and exclusively manufactured by Greentorch. Constructed from 99% aluminum and completely non-electrical, the GT257 Series is fully recyclable at the end of its long, 25-year lifespan. The GT257 has a 75-foot UL924 Listed for the United States and Canada with a viewing distance. This sign is featured throughout the Aria Tower at MGM CityCenter in Las Vegas.

The GT257 Series utilizes non-electrical photoluminescent (glow-in-the-dark) technology, which illuminates the background of the EXIT face; the letter color choice is red or green. The GT257 Series is a suitable choice for new construction LEED projects and already constructed buildings that are going for LEED certification or need EXIT signs installed where there currently is no electricity. The cost to run electrical conduit is expensive, and the GT257 avoids this hassle while insuring fire and building code compliance.

Eliminate your dependence on electricity for your exit signs with the GT257. The GT257 comes standard with a 3/4" black or brushed aluminum picture frame; the 3/16" flush mount low profile brushed aluminum frame is optional. The GT257 installs in minutes with surface mount hardware kit (included).

ILLUMINATION:

Non-electrical photoluminescent glow-in-the-dark technology utilizes ambient lighting to charge and illuminates without dependence on electrical backup during an emergency. The GT257 features a 75 foot UL Listed viewing distance with minimal maintenance (occasional dusting) during its 25+ year life expectancy.

Minimum 5 foot-candle (54 lux) external unfiltered light source (fluorescent, metal halide, or mercury vapor illumination, etc.) must be present on the sign face at all times of building occupancy.

EXIT FACE: Installs easily with multiple framing options, hardware included. Suitable for both high and low level applications.

ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS: None, the GT257 photoluminescent technology makes it non-electrical.

CODE COMPLIANCE: All models are UL924 listed and compliant with a wide range of codes and standards including, but limited to, the following: DIN 67510-1, ISO/CD 15370, ASTM 162, ASTM 662, ASTM E 2072-00, NFPA Life Safety Code 101, ICC, IBC, 1998 California Building Code and Fire Code.
