PRODUCT OVERVIEW: Recessed emergency lighting gimbal unit features adjustable, glare-free lighting head.
Unique mounting plate allows fast, easy installation.
CONSTRUCTION: Heavy duty steel construction is finished in neutral cream bakedon powder paint providing scratch and corrosion resistance. Optional black and special color paint finishes available. The gimbal ring allows full adjustment of the unit lighting head.
ILLUMINATION: A high output incandescent sealed beam lamp provides
glare-free light distribution.

BATTERY TECHNOLOGY: Standard Battery is a Sealed Lead Calcium maintenance-free battery designed to provide many years of dependable service. Optional batteries include a Pure Lead battery for extended life or a Nickel Cadmium battery for the longest life.
INSTALLATION: Mounting: A plaster ring is supplied with provisions for mounting bars (supplied by installer).
Wiring: A junction box is included with the plaster ring assembly for making AC connections to the unit. The gimbal/lamp assembly is provided with a plug-in connector.

Brownout Protection: Automatically switches the unit to emergency mode when utility voltage is reduced to the point at which most fluorescent light fixtures would extinguish.
