PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
The CREE LE6 6” Recessed Adjustable Downlight is a 12-watt can light for new construction and retrofits that installs easily in most standard recessed IC or non-IC 6” can housings. The LE6 is very similar to the LR6 but offers the ability to adjust the angle of the light on the go. The LE6 can be adjusted from 10 to 30 degrees, allowing the user to smoothly wash a wall. The LE6 uses only 12 watts of electricity to generate warm, white light with LED’s in a new way that enables an unprecedented combination of light output, energy efficiency, color, and affordability.
Proprietary technology delivers high-quality white light that is fully dimmable with compatible dimmers (See Specification Sheet). The LE6 designed for a lifetime of over 50,000 hours, which is more than 10 years when operated at 12 hours a day.
Made of durable, 110% recycled, die-cast aluminum. Uses about 1/8th the electricity of typical 6” incandescent light bulbs. The LE6 provides more light per watt of energy than CFL’s, which makes it easier to comply with energy codes such as California’s Title 24.
The LE6 has many options and accessories, allowing you to full customization capabilities. There are seven trim styles and two base types that are offered. We can supply you with the LE6’s 6” can as well. The 6” can is offered with both the Edison E27 base type and Title 24 compliant GU24 base type. If you would like to surface mount the unit, then purchase our Surface Mount Housing option. Overall, the LE6 is a cost effective, ultra energy-efficient downlight with superior quality and a long lifespan.
CONSTRUCTION:
100% recycled die-cast aluminum construction with CREE LEDs. Multiple trim finishes available.
ILLUMINATION:
500 lumens from 12, 1.0 watt CREE LEDs. Offered in color temperatures of warm white (2700K) and cool white (3500K).
INSTALLATION:
Installs into new or existing 6 inch cans with E27 or GU base type. GU base type is California Title 24 compliant. Compatible recessed can models and surface mount housing options can be added on when ordering.
ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
