PRODUCT OVERVIEW: The SWEM Weatherproof Emergency Luminaire’s unique design combines an outdoor luminaire with a custom fitted emergency lamp. The SWEM is made from durable die-cast aluminum with a durable bronze powder coated finish. Tamperproof hardware comes standard. The SWEM comes with a pre-mountable wall box with integral splice chamber for easy, hands-free wall positioning and wiring. The SWEM can be supplied with emergency power from a remote capable battery pack or emergency light. Wet location listed and ETL listed to UL 924 standards.

CONSTRUCTION: All housing components are of premium die-cast aluminum construction with a durable bronze powder coat finish. Stainless steel torx head T25 tamperproof hardware included.

ILLUMINATION: Normal illumination is provided by one 100-watt, high-pressure sodium lamp or one 100-watt, metal halide lamp, combined with a polished specular aluminum reflector with type 4 distribution. Normally on illumination may be switched or photocell controlled. Emergency illumination is accomplished with a 35-watt, instant strike Xenarc lamp, powered from a remote emergency battery unit (sold separately).

BATTERY TECHNOLOGY: Emergency battery units for indoor/outdoor recessed ceiling mount and indoor surface mount sold separately.

INSTALLATION: The SWEM is designed with a pre-mountable wall box with integral splice chamber for easy, hands-free wall positioning and wiring. A built-in bubble level aids in accuracy. A polarized, low-voltage, emergency power connector is supplied with a 10 foot interconnect.
