PRODUCT OVERVIEW: The VPSEL offers 6 volt emergency lighting suitable for areas where tampering or vandalism may occur. Units feature high strength polycarbonate construction and fluorescent lamps.

CONSTRUCTION: Heavy gauge steel mounting plate is covered entirely by the unit’s impact resistant, UV stable polycarbonate lens. Unit lens is secured using tamper-proof screws.

ILLUMINATION: High output compact fluorescent lamp(s) maximize illumination characteristics through a specially designed reflector and polycarbonate lens assembly that provides glare-free trapezoidal light distribution. Lamp Type: Compact fluorescent Lamp Rating: 7 or 9 watts (depending on model) Lamp Life: 100 hours (expected average).

BATTERY TECHNOLOGY: Sealed lead calcium maintenance free battery designed to provide many years of dependable service.

INSTALLATION: Units are designed for installation to wall or ceiling surfaces as well as standard 31/2” and 4” utility boxes. Knockouts are provided in the enclosure backplate for connection to standard 31/2” and 4” utility boxes. An optional steel back box is available that provides knockouts on all four sides for the connection of surface conduit.
